Trip to Ipoh
Monday, January 5th, 2009Yesterday, I spent most of my time at night reading all the things I have written in my journal. It was funny remembering all the things that happened when I was in UK. I started my journal when I was abroad. Most of my friends were those who pursuing their Masters and PHD. They kind of persuade me to start writing and just write any bloody thing that came across my mind and it was fun to write according to them. Well, as the result here I am hehehe… Unfortunately, I rarely write my journal that often nowadays due to work commitment and etc.
Last month I went to Ipoh for my cousin’s engagement. As a responsible chief of platoon (my uncle is a retired army so we kind of referring ourselves as part of army team) I would say, I have completed my task with flying colours. Manage to deliver the ring to the subject successfully. :p
A day before the engagement, my cousin took us to have lunch at a place named ‘Nasi Beriani Power A.K’. I went there with my brother, Wani, Ieda and my cousin Syaffieq. Age had to attend his tuition class that afternoon. Anyway, there was no more space left for him even if he interested to join us coz Wani had already occupied most of the seats at the back hehehe…. Just joking ( Wani jgn mare heh) On our way to the car after we had our fattening lunch, Wani suddenly asked my cousin Syaffieq what was A.K stands for. Was it Ahmad Kassan (A famous dance instructor or choreographer)? Bloody hell! How on earth she got such idea, of course we did laugh out loud. Actually, even Syaffieq hadn’t had a clue what was it stands for. Ahmad Kassan? He must be bloody good to have such skill to have such a brilliant recipe of Nasi Beriani. Huh! Thanks Syaffieq for the treat.
The day of engagement itself, my cousins and I were busy with our last minute preparation to do some touch-up to the ‘hantaran’. As usual, we took some photos together and it was like a bloody famous singer photo session. My cousin Kak Liz told me she took nearly 200 of photos during the engagement. I have updated some of the photos here in friendster.
I went back to KL later that night and the rain was pouring down heavily all the way during my journey. Honestly, I don’t even have a gut to sleep coz it was my brother’s first ever time driving on a highway. I can sense he was nervous but alhamdulillah it went smooth and easy.
